THE ASSUMPTIONS TAB

Every model your firm built is an argument with its premises listed

A spreadsheet forces assumptions into the open, because it cannot run without them. The versions, the scenarios that were tried and dropped, and the notes in the margins record judgement in a form almost nothing else matches.

THE MODELLING QUESTIONS

What firms ask about spreadsheets

Our models contain client financials.

Then those are handled through scope and anonymization. Identifying fields are stripped in preparation, and anything you cannot license stays out.

Most of ours were wrong.

Good. A forecast that missed, with a revised version showing what changed, is more instructive than one that happened to be right.

Are spreadsheets really worth much?

They score well on reasoning density because assumptions have to be explicit. That matters far more than volume.

What does it cost to ask?

Nothing at any stage. There is no fee and no commission, because we are the buyer.
